Job Title: Mechanic
Due to business expansion DHL SUPPLY CHAIN UGANDA is seeking suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:
Mechanic
The team of Mechanics will report to the Garage Manager to ensure that all the HGVs are serviced and repaired to meet fleet requirements. Responsibilities will include fault identification; inspections; cross-training and maintenance of the workshop and stock according to HSE requirements.
Requirement:
Qualifications & Skills:
Appropriate certification as Mechanic / Engineer.
Proven mechanical experience including care of tools, equipment, workshop and vehicles.
Ability to use initiative and undertake preventive maintenance inspections.
2-5 years relevant experience.
Good analytical and diagnostic skills & ability to do a root cause analysis.
Fully literate and able to keep accurate and comprehensive reports.
HGV drivers license will be an advantage.
