Job Description
SENIOR & JUNIOR MECHANICS
The team of Mechanics will report to the Garage Manager to ensure that all the HGVs are serviced and repaired to meet fleet requirements. Responsibilities will include fault identification; inspections; cross-training and maintenance of the workshop and stock according to HSE requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Appropriate certification as Mechanic / Engineer
Proven mechanical experience including care of tools, equipment,
workshop and vehicles
Ability to use initiative and undertake preventive maintenance inspections
2 – 5 years relevant experience
Good analytical and diagnostic skills & ability to do a root cause analysis
Fully literate and able to keep accurate and comprehensive reports
HGV drivers license will be an advantage.
