Duties
The incumbent will be responsible for performance of the following duties;
In Charge of day to day works operations of the unit
To draw daily schedules in consultation with the Protect Engineer and document dairy activities
To ensure that al the equipment are in good working condition
To ensure that the machines are serviced oiled, cleaned and washed and are always parked well.
To ensure that the minor repairs are earned out as per schedule
To ensure that Log books for each machine are in order
Responsible for stores records ledgers
To write weekly reports on field work activities.
Any other duties as assigned by the supervisors.
Minimum Qualifications and experience
Diploma in Agricultural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Five years experience in a Government or private management of equipment.
Knowledge and skills
Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be self motivated and self driven and able to meet deadlines.
Must be able to work and reside under field/ rural conditions
