Duties/Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for performance of (the following)
Duties
To operate the plant according to the operators manual
To ensure machines are in good working condition (check the oil & water) before operations start in the morning.
To ensure that the plant is always dean after work
To ensure that the plant is well greased
To report any minor or major faults to me Engineering Assistants
Ensure log book is properly filled before operations i.e. every morning
Ensure the plant is parked in the appropriate and secure place after work
Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
Minimum qualifications and experience
Ordinary level (UCE) certificate with a pass in English
Certificate of heavy machine operator from a recognized institution
Experience oral least 3 years operating a relevant machine
Knowledge and skills
Able to work in team and able to work and stay under field /rural condition.
