Human Resource Manager Job Vacancy at Uganda Clays Limited


Job Title:  HUMAN RESOURCE MANGER:

Reports:
Managing Director.
It is a 3( three) years renewable contractual position.

Main purpose of the job:
To lead and manage the Human Resource function of Uganda Clays Ltd and to provide advisory role and support to the Company in relation to all Human Resource matters.

The Human Resource Manger’s main duties and responsibilities will include:

1. To develop and implement Human resource strategies in the areas of human resource planning, training and development, staff welfare, performance and reward management.
2. To formulate, review and implement coherent human resource and administrative policies, systems, plans and procedures.
3. To ensure a frame work for maintaining safe healthy working environment.
4. To participate in developing the Organizations’ strategy and annual plans.
5. Responsible for storage of human resource records for purpose of facilitating performance appraisal, evaluation, future planning and decision making.
6. To develop and maintain machinery for consultation with the trade union representatives.
7. To develop training programs and budgets.
8. To ensure that compensation structure balance out employee expectations and the financial goals of the organization.
9. To ensure that job descriptions for all posts are updated.
10. Linking effective talent management strategy to organizational succession planning framework.
11. Determining the best method to foster communication and motivate employees in the company.

Person Specification:
1. Bachelors’ degree in social Science in the related field.
2. Post graduate diploma in human resource management is an added advantage.
3. Should be possessing computer skills
4. Professional membership to Human Resource Management body is an added advantage.
5. Should have an eight (8) years experience in human Resource Management; three (3) of which should be in a managerial position.
