Job Title : Distribution Manager
Reports to: Circulation manager
Job Purpose ; To design ,implement and continually review the sales and distribution strategy and manage and develop all distribution staff to ensure that the business achieves its objectives and revenue targets.
Main Responsibilities ;
• Manages the implementation and execution of the circulation and distribution strategy
• Manage circulation and distribution activities so as to maximize sales revenues, ensure sustainable sales growth and achieve revenue targets and business objectives
• Direct the development and implementation of sales processes , tools and capabilities for circulation and distribution
• Manage vendors and agents in a manner that ensures achievement of goals/targets
Qualifications & Experience;
• A bachelors degree in any business related course or equivalent business or sales management
• Post graduate qualifications will be an added advantage
• literacy especially in powerpoint , word and spreadsheets.
• At least 5 proven successful years of sales with a combination of direct and indirect (distributors) market approach in an FMCG environment and minimum of two years experience in sales management
