Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

Job Description
Supervision of Cu product offering. Coordination of Fibre Infrastructure for service delivery.
Conduct Customer Site Surveys and Pre-installation Checks.
Configuration of Customer Premises Equipment for Roke Telkom Service, this refers to both Roke Telkom equipment and Customers’ Equipment.
Handle Escalations from the NOC as second Tier of the support.
Management of Bills of Materials for all access network requirements.
Management of Roke Telkom Spare Inventory with Supervision of the C.T.O, including forecasting the needs for Spare Holding.
Requisition and accountability of petty cash for field activities.
Reporting on customer experiences and continuous technical account management.
Pre-sales and Post Sales Support. for Roke Telkom Customers.
Supervision of installation of Roke Telkom transmission infrastructure, both wired and wireless, as required.
Continuous maintenance of Roke Telkom transmission infrastructure both wired & wireless, as required.
Requirement:
Project Management Skills, a certification is an added advantage
A hands on management style and proven experience of managing and motivating a team.
Excellent relationship account management skills, communication and 'people skills
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Good planning and organizational skills
A minimum 3 years of relevant experience, Telecom or ISP background is an added advantage.
Avail driving license.
A Bachelor s degree in IT
A certification in a relevant field
