Job Title : Director- sustainability and Partnerships Reports to: Executive Director
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director- sustainability and Partnerships will be expected to Work with functional heads, to identify areas for strategic program and infrastructure expansion, defining related resource requirements for the development of a robust Mildmay Uganda Directorate of Sustainability and Partnerships, based on these interactions the position holder will lead l the development, implementation and monitoring f Mildmay Uganda’s Sustainability Plan ensuring the inclusion of a Strategic Resource Generation component within the Plan, that is consistent with the core objectives of the organisation.
Requirement:
The successful applicant will be a strong practicing Christian with a good reputation who will uphold the Christian ethos of the organization.
S/he must have a master’s degree in a relevant field such as Development, public Health, Public Policy, Finance, Business or Public administration.
S/he will have a minimum of 5 years' successful experience in grant solicitation and management; strategy development; resource mobilisation as well as donor cultivation in the health care field at least 3 of which should have been at senior management level.
Should have experience in identifying and evaluating potential partner relationships, successful candidate will have advanced levels of personal skills in making formal persuasive presentations; strategy development; advocacy and negotiation; resource mobilization; communication; and leadership.
