The Diocesan Secretary Ruwenzori Diocese invites applications from suitably qualified mature born again Christians to serve in child ministry projects of Ruwenzori Diocese in Bumadu archdeaconry Bundibugyo District. Applicants should be ready to work in rural areas and be receptive to different categories of people in any of the opportunities below.
Job Title: Project Director (3 Vacancies)
The Project Director will be in charge of all the other staff and ensuring proper relationships and networks with other key stakeholders. He will also ensure that all funds are spent according to the accounting standards provided. He will report to the project Overseer.
Job Summary:
Be Christ’s witness to children and caregivers
An advocate for children
Be in charge of leading, mentoring, coaching, supervising, coordinating and evaluating other staff.
Lead the preparation of plans and submit them to relevant offices for approval
Act as the accounting officer for all Project funds, ensuring adherence to the set standards and policies.
Supervise the Implementation of the approved project plan and budget in consulation with stakeholders.
Submit monthly reports to the Overseer, the CPC and other Partners as required.
To challenge, motivate and encourage the church to think of other ways of mobilizing resources for child development activities
Work closely with the committee on selection of children for sponsorship.
Discharge such other duties as are assigned by the project leadership or Compassion office
Requirement:
Applicants should be in Possession of a Degree in Social Sciences, SWASA, Community psychology, adult and community education, development studies, education, BBA or related humanities
