Job Description
Reports to: Head Projects and Marketing Department
Salary Scale: UM4B
(a) Duties and Responsibilities:
(i) Managing short courses of the Institute
(ii) Scanning the local and external environment for consultancy opportunities
(iii) Preparing bid documents in consultation with staff and external clients
(iv) Coordinating various projects undertaken by the Institute
(v) Writing quality reports
(b) Person Specifications
(i) An honors first degree in Development or related field
(ii) A postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management is required
(iii) Two years’ experience as Projects Officer in a reputable organization
(iv) Demonstrated ability to write, negotiate, manage, monitor and evaluate project proposals (successful cases to be presented)
