SALARY SCALE:  UGANDA GOVERNMENT SCALE-KCCA 7
AGE:  25 YEARS AND ABOVE
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Social Sciences [Economics or
Policy Option] or Development Studies or Economics or Statistics or Mathematics or any relevant course in
Humanities from a recognized University.
Possession of   post graduate qualification in relevant field will be added advantage
At least 2 years working experience in monitoring and evaluation, quality assurance, or a related area
working with a Government department or civil society.
He/she should have the following Key competences: Data collection, documentation and reporting writing
skills; quantitative and qualitative data analysis;  good interpersonal relations, Oral and written
communication, proven integrity, Confidentiality, ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and
with limited supervision.
DUTIES:-
The incumbent will be responsible to the Supervisor Quality Assurance, Monitoring & Evaluation for
performing the following duties:-
 Implementing and  monitoring plans to capture quantitative and qualitative data to report on all
programs at the urban council level.
 Monitoring and evaluating programs and projects in the urban council.
 Conducting quality assessments to ensure that programs and projects implemented meet the quality
standards.
 Participating in baseline surveys, monitoring and evaluation and quality assurance exercises for
programs and projects and impact assessments.
 Documenting and writing reports on assessments, program data, lessons learned and best practices for
dissemination.
 Performing M&E data entry as per routine.
 Providing technical support and support supervision to NGOs, CBOs and other stakeholders on matters
regarding M&E.
 Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

photograph  to  the  Secretary Public Service Commission, Kampala to be received  not later than

As proof of experience where required, applicants  MUST  attach the relevant documents such as
Appointment, confirmation or related document.
Applications   should bear   the title  of the post  as well as the reference  number specified  against  the

the form
Applicants should clearly indicate the first and second choice against the post where applicable and must
