Sales - Account Manager Jobs at I.T Firm in Kampala




Job Title:Sales - Account Manager
Job Objective:

To grow the market share of the company by increasing sales revenue
To be the primary point of contact between the company and our clients

Duties and Responsibilities:

Acting as a contact between Tinosoft and its existing and potential markets
Identifying and establishing contact with potential customers proactively.
Maintaining contact with new and existing customers to advertise the product sales and deliver a detailed account strategy.
Responding to sales inquiries from new and existing customers.
Meeting annual sales targets
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
Gathering market and customer information.
Representing the organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations.
Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers.
Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy.
Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders.
Checking quantities of goods on display and in stock.
Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office, or entering into a computer system.
Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements.

Excellent selling skills
Excellent technical knowledge, and a keen interest in IT issues
Initiative
Presentation skills
The ability to interpret technical language for non-technical people
The ability to write reports and proposals
The capacity to work well on your own or in a team
Negotiating skills
The ability to manage your time and plan your day effectively

Qualifications:

BA’ Commerce or Marketing with IT
Experience selling Microsoft, Cisco & HP Products. Knowledge of e-Security products a plus
Microsoft Sales Certifications, Cisco Sales Expert - CSE, HP Accredited Sales Professional, eSecurity Products – CCTV, Biometric Access, etc
Minimum 2-3 years with IT Solutions Provider
