Senior Internal Auditor
Applications are invited from suitable qualified Ugandans to fill the following posts, which exist in Namutumba Town Council.
Senior Internal Auditor
Person’s Specifications:
Either – Hons. Bachelors degree in Accounting or Auditing from a recognized University plus full professional qualifications in Accounting or Auditing from a recognized institution.
Or – Full professional qualifications in Accounting or Auditing from a recognized institution plus a minimum of Post graduate Diploma in Financial Management or Business Administration from a recognized institution
At least 3 years working experience at the level of an Internal Auditor in a Public or reputable organization.
Duties:
• Reviewing financial and accounting systems and procedures to ensure efficiency.
• Auditing procurement and payment procedures to facilitate efficient and effective transaction in the Town Council
Auditing manpower in line with the budgets and laws
• Conducting stores audit for safe custody, efficiency and economic usage or resources
• Undertaking council audits in liaison with the Auditor General
• Planning, coordinating and monitoring departmental programs and
• Prepare and Submitting annual and quarterly departmental work plans and budgets

Serving officers should route their applications through their heads of departments who should observe the closing date. Applications must bear the title of the post applied for as well as the Reference numbers.
