Job Title: Headteacher

In 1996, Mityana Uganda Charity established Nabukenya Primary School in Mubende District, Kasanda Sub-county. The school has seven classes (P.l – P.7) with more than 300 pupils.
The Charity seeks to recruit a full time self motivated and Christian Headteacher with high levels of integrity able to start work when the current post holder retires in December 2012. The Headteacher has access to a free house on site as part of the remuneration package.
Duties and responsibilities
To lead the Christian ethos of the school and ensure implementation of education policies.
To lead by example, supervise, monitor and evaluate the teaching in the school
To drive improvement in the performance of pupils and standards at the school.
To provide leadership in strategic planning and accounting for resources in the school.
Requirement:
Diploma in Primary education from a reputable Institution.
Bachelor's degree will be an added advantage.
At least three years’ experience in a Primary School management position.
MUST have excellent skills in computer use (MS Word, MS Excel and Internet use).
Good interpersonal managerial and planning skills and ability coach and develop
