Job Title: Buyer Grade H
Rwenzori Bottling Company Limited, a leading water bottling company in Uganda and a subsidiary of SABMiller, the second largest brewing group in the world, seeks to recruit a highly motivated, results oriented and dynamic professional for their for the position above: Buyer Grade H
Purpose of Position
The Buyer is responsible for managing and purchasing raw materials, ensuring best price, quality, and timely delivery of all purchases.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage local and import order placing, delivery and payments as per the lead times agreed
Apply production and demand planning in the ordering process
Process for insurance cover for all imports and lodge claims whenever necessary
Make relevant reports on time for quick decision making
Ensure accurate stock take is done for raw materials as per the planned schedule
Ensure FIFO and FEFO is implemented as per the aging report
Ensure the procurement policy and ethical code of conduct is adhered to by the suppliers
Should be able to apply budget pricing to the ordering process
Requirement:
Holder of a degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar environment (FMCC Plant) is an added advantage.
Computer Literacy - Word, PowerPoint and Excel is a must.
Should be disciplined and a dynamic team leader.
Should have a proactive mindset, self-driven, self-starter.
Able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
Good communication skills.
Customer centric disposition.
