Job Title: Sample Transporter (8)

Mildmay Uganda is an HIV/AIDS treatment and training centre also providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services in 16 districts of Central Uganda. Situated on Entebbe Road, Lweza, south of Kampala. Mildmay Uganda is seeking applications from experienced and motivated people interested in experienced in a rewarding career undertaking the challenging roles of;
Upcountry Positions:
Job Title: Sample Transporter – 8 positions
Duty Station: Upcountry (in the districts of Nakasongola, Nakaseke; Luwero; Mityana; Mubende; Gomba; Lyantonde; Sembabule).
Reports to: The HCIV in charge 21 in charge of Hospital HIV Clinic
Job Summary: Position holder will ensure that the laboratory samples are routinely picked from health facilities and delivered to the lab hub at the designated Hospital/Health Centre IV and results of the same delivered back to the health facilities.
Requirement:
O' Level Certificate with a valid riding permit. 3 years experience in motor bike riding with record of previous work with community based organizations.
Experience in medical related sample transportation and/or basic training in laboratory work is an added advantage.
Must possess knowledge of road signs and traffic laws and fluent in Luganda.
