Job Summary:
Provide support services to technical medical professionals at the health facility to enable delivery of quality health services.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist nurses and midwives in routine medical tasks with patients.
Provide routine technical support functions at the level of setting up, for efficient nursing or midwifery procedures.
Cleaning medical equipment and managing stock levels then report to the Nurse in Charge for restocking.
Support cleaning of wards and changing beddings for both inpatient and outpatient departments
Contributing to the maintenance of a physically and culturally safe environment for patients and staff
Supporting Nursing procedures through cleaning patients, dressing patient wounds etc as directed by the supervisor
Prepare patients for referral and communicate to the relevant staff through a record of patients due for referral
Support the Nurse/Midwife monitor attendance and progress of healing for current patients
Required Qualifications
Certificate in Nursing or related medical field
At least 1 year experience on the same role or higher
