Job Title: Health & Safety Manager
Location : Kampala and mobilized to Lake Albert , construction sites or other cities required

Responsibilities
Develop principles and targets of safety management responsible for their establishment , implementation review and overall improvement of the safety management system
Establishment the incident command system
Plan and organize health and safety training and activities

Requirements
Bachelors Degree or above in engineering ,environment safety or equivalent
Minimum 10 years related working experience and 5 years working experience
Knowledge
Extensive knowledge of QHSE system construction and review
Extensive knowledge of Chinese and International Laws and regulations
Extensive Knowledge HSE Management

Key responsibilities
You will ensure that all departments are linked working as a team so as to achieve consistent flow of team oriented department performance
You will be working closely with auditors that all taxation information , books of accounts are kept in accuracy to avoid errors and omissions
Review payments vouchers before cheques are prepared and forwarded to authorities
Monitor primary implementation of the TBS fm Internal controls to ensure adequate risk management
Deal with tax authorities and the other regulatory bodies on matters of tax related issues
Register fixed assests to ensure proper custody including regular physical verifications
Ensure that all financial transactions are processed with appropriate documentation and approvals
Manage staff pay roll
Ensure that staff records are regularly updated are regularly updated and well maintained
Ensure that traffic department is effectively working

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration /BCOM with Bias in accounts and must be computer literate with knowledge in accounting packages
Must be willing to work upcountry
