Job Title: Diesel Generator Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
Our client is a leading global information and communications technology solutions provider and is seeking to recruit result driven and motivated individuals for the Vacancy above;
Duties and Responsibilities:
Repairing diesel, propane, and natural gas engines.
Repairing large generators and alternators.
diagnosing and repairing generators (e.g. propane gas, natural gas, and diesel powered systems).
Testing electrical components and taking equipment readings with various tools and meters to determine appropriate repairs.
The correct selection and safe use of various applicable hand, power and specialty tools.
Troubleshooting diesel engines, 3-phase generators, and transfer switches as they apply to various equipment and systems when voltage, amperage, cycles and phases show defects.
The installation of emergency standby generator systems.
Inspecting and determining repairs and replacements of materials and equipment.
Qualifications:
2 years and above in Diesel Generator Maintenance.
Maintenance of Air Conditioners is an added advantage.
