•Mengo Hospital, a 300 beds, faith based, NGO, Hearth Cars complex, invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the job opportunities at the Hospital here below.
Job purpose/summary:
(a) To head the Hospital Works and Engineering Department
(b) Manages the construction, installation, renovation. maintenance and repair of Hospital infrastructure, buildings, electrical system, water system, sewerage system, medical equipments, machinery and vehicles. •
(c ) To maintain the existing infrastructure” In an excellent state of repair and develop new infrastructure
Requirement:
Minimum qualifications & experience:
(a) MUST have a Higher National Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Civil Engineering. Plus 3 BSc. Engineering (Huns.) Degree either in Civil, Electrical. Electronics or Mechanical from a recognized University or Institution.
A Master of Science in Engineering or Post Graduate- training in Hospital Engineering will be added advantage.
(b) Must have at least eight (8) years relevant working experience, attained by career progression through the ranks, three
(3) of which at the level of Senior Engineer or Head of an engineering Unit {c) Must be registered with the Engineers Registration Board.
(d) Age a well balanced, mature and dynamic person of at teas! 35 years and above.
