REPORTS TO: HEAD – NATIONAL RESPONSE
Purpose of the Job
To coordinate and ensure participation of the Public Sector, Civil Society and Private Sector in the HIV/AIDS National response.
Key Duties and responsibilities
To coordinate programmes on HIV/AIDS response by the three sectors i.e Public Sector, Civil Society and Private Sector
To facilitate communication between UAC and the Civil Society, Public and Private Sector
To provide technical support and guidance in capacity needs assessment within the Civil Society, Public and Private Sector
To coordinate participation by the Civil Society, Public and Private Sector sectors in policy development, strategic planning and budgeting for the national response
To facilitate the designing and implementation of impact assessment tools and approaches of sector specific responses within the national response framework
To prepare work plans, budgets and performance reports of the Civil society, Public and Private Sector
To support identification, documentation and dissemination of best practices among the Civil Society, Public and Private Sector
Person Specifications
Qualifications
An Honors Bachelor Degree Medicine and Surgery, Social Sciences or Humanities from a recognized institution.
Post graduate Diploma in Public Administration or Management or Development Studies from a recognized institution.
Experience
A minimum of Four (4) years’ experience in a management position in Government or a reputable organization
