Organisational Development Officer Job Vacancy at Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA)


Job Title: ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (1 VACANCY) REF. DSC 15/70/02 SALARY SCALE: UGANDA GOVERNMENT SCALE-KCCA 7 AGE: 28 YEARS AND ABOVE
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND WORKING EXPERIENCE:
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honor’s Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or Organizational Psychology or Business Administration or Public Administration or Management or Arts or Social Science or SWASA with organizational development as one of the course units from a recognized institution.
Possession of a minimum of a post graduate Diploma in relevant field will be an added advantage
Applicants should have a minimum of two (2) years working experience in Human Resource Management gained at officer level in Government or equivalent level of relevant working experience from a reputable organization.
He/she should have the following key competences: Integrity and confidentiality, implementing Organizational Development programs, oral and written communication competences, interpersonal relations, ability to work as a team, ability to work and produce accurate results in an environment with multiple and challenging tasks an ability to meet timelines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
DUTIES:-
The incumbent will be responsible to the Supervisor for performing the following duties:-
 Studying and evaluating the organization’s functional relationship with the operational organization structures and make recommendations in line with the set standards.
 Developing guidelines for review and evaluation of the KCCA work systems, methods and procedures in relation to employee performance and make recommendations to management in line with the Departmental Instructions.
 Reviewing job grade(s) standards and competence benchmarks and recommending thresholds in line with the organization’s competence requirements.
 Designing and maintaining job analysis, job design, and, job grading methods and standards in the emerging organizational development strategy.
 Studying the changing work context, identifying research areas, developing research instruments and evaluating findings in line with the Organizational development strategies.
 Maintaining and updating manpower establishments against approved organizational structures and positions.

 Preparing and reviewing the organizations schemes of service and update the person specifications in line with the HRM standards and best practices
