Job title : Assistant Manager – Credit Control
Department : Finance
Reporting to : Finance Manager

Purpose of the job
The Assistant Manager – Credit Control provides administrative and technical support to the Finance Manager on NIKO Insurance (U) Limited debt to ensure the department is running smoothly. In addition, the Assistant Manager – Credit Control will be expected, but not limited to perform debtors’ reconciliations, receipt application, prepare Producers’ statements, debtors’ analyses.

Responsibilities:

Reporting and debt management
 Preparation of monthly debtors aged schedule and reconciling it to general ledger
 Preparation and dispatch of Producer statements
 Carry out accounts/Broker reconciliations
 To ensure monthly collections meet the set targets
 Matching of receipts to paid up insurance policies
 Preparation of Credit Control reports
Minimum Qualification and Experience
 Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from a Recognized Institution or ACCA/CIMA level 2
 Member of ICPA(U)
 2-3 years experience on Debt Management or similar assignment
 Knowledge of Computers and Computer Systems are desirable
