Job Title:Network Performance Management
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide data required for capacity and performance trend statistics and highlight concerns to necessitate quick identification of network performance issues.
Gather information; analyze and track all network performance to effectively plan network improvements and maximize network performance.
Monitor the performance of the network against pre-set Key Performance Indicators, (KPI’s).
Rank, prioritize and escalate bad performing cells and follow up on resolution process.
Manage network change of state by monitoring the statistical impact of all changes on the network and advise on fall back where necessary, to ensure continuous network performance improvement.
Timely and accurately prepare Management Performance reports to give an overview of the Network performance status.
Carry out regular performance data back up to ensure continuous availability of network statistics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, or any related fields with Telecom certifications.
2 years experience in telecommunication directly related to Network Planning/design Optimization and performance.
Strong people management skills with a track record of performing effectively in a team setting.
Good communication skills, analytical and solution focused.
CCNA/CCNP qualification an added advantage.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, self driven, innovative and creative.
