Job Description
The MWH trust is a social investment fund. One of our objectives is to support
emerging commercial farmers in obtaining a sustainable and fair income
from farming. In Pajule Town we are starting a one-stop service center for
farmers and for this program we wish to recruit for the following position:
Deputy General Manager
Starting date: as soon as possible
Qualifications
The minimum qualification for this position is
Administration with five years relevant experience.
A Masters Degree in Business
Overall responsibility:
In close col collaboration with the General Manager, assure the overall smooth and efficient running of the office of the service center.
Specific Responsibilities
* Setup and running of the overall administrative structures and procedures ( human resource, financial, logistical, fleet and asset management)
* Run the knowledge center and farmers’ cafe
* Supervise the store keeper and other office workers
Other requirements:
* Luo speaker
* Knowledge of and experience in direct supervision and management of st a ff
* Excellent computer skills and basic knowledge of IT systems
* Basic skills in accounting and procurement
We are looking for a mature personality who wants to ma ke a difference in the lives of farmers and who can work with a minimum of supervision.
