GOAL Uganda’s country programme lotuses on iwo ot three ol GOAL’S strategic sectors narraty, Health (including WASH and HIV) and Livelihoods. In the Livelihoods sector, GOAL Uganda will be implementing a collaborate project focusing on building productive assets al the community level through a Cash tor Work (CFW) approach In the Abim Districi In the Central region of Karamo|a. This profeci will directly address the overall objective ot die Karatxioja Livelihood Programme (KALIP) lo “protect and enhance- ihe incomes and (rod security of agro-pasloral communities and support them in building up their own productive asset base” and the specific otjectte ‘products assets omit ihrough labour intensive works and capital injected in the local economy”.

M&EOfficer-Kampala

The position holder will independently conduct evaluations ot partner sub-projecis based on the GOAL Uganda Evaluation Framework and support the turther development and implementation ot the monitoring and evaluation system thai will provide information al prolect, programme and country level lor measuring the outcomes and Impact ol GOAL Uganda’s support to partner organisations. In addition the position holder will be expected lo identity and share lessons learned through GOAL and partner interventions In order to
team Irom and Improve practice, and contribute lo a continuous increase In improvement ot the quality ol our work.
Essential Requirements:
• Degree in social sciences, development studies or related, relevant subject
• Minimum 3 years work experience in M & E wilh an NGO.
• Demonstrated experience ol mdepenoeniry leadixp and conducting an evaluation (not as a learn);
• Strong, demonstrable reporting wnllng stalls Including In-depth Investigation, good quality analysis ol qualitative & quailtllalive Information;
• Ability lo travel up to 50% of time Irom base;
• Good computer skills (MS Word and Excel) and
• Good, demonstrable writing sklBs in English.
Desirable Require merits:
• Strong analytical skills;
• Experience 0′ conducting MultHndicalor Cluster Surveys;
• Experience with Hie computer package SPSS: anrJ
• Good co mm unreal ion skills (written, spoken}.
