Directorate: Clinical Services
Reports to: Administratively to Head of Therapies and operationally to Head of Paediatrics
Job Summary: The post holder will be responsible for the provision of nutrition services to meet the patient’s needs and the objectives of the Mildmay Uganda
Job Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics and must be registered with the relevant professional body/council. He/she must have at least 2 years’ practical experience in nutritional support. Experience in HIV/AIDS nutritional care issues is desirable. He/she must have knowledge of local languages.
For all positions above, other qualities are: Good communication and interpersonal skills, Proficiency in various MS office packages and working knowledge of English and local language(s) are crucial. Hard working, trust-worthy, and holding the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality. Must be flexible, reliable, able to work under pressure; and in sympathy with the Christian values of Mildmay International. Evidence of a non-judgemental approach regarding race, religion, culture, sexuality and lifestyle is critical.
