Job Description
Directorate: Clinical Services
Reports to: Social Work team leader
Job Summary: Successful applicant will be responsible for handling social issues related to the care of clients of the Mildmay Uganda and as team leader provide leadership in social welfare support to patients and their families.
Job Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Social Work and Social Administration with at least 2 year’s experience in social work. Must have knowledge and experience of HIV/AIDS care issues as well as good working knowledge of English and Luganda
For all positions above, other qualities are: Good communication and interpersonal skills, Proficiency in various MS office packages and working knowledge of English and local language(s) are crucial. Hard working, trust-worthy, and holding the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality. Must be flexible, reliable, able to work under pressure; and in sympathy with the Christian values of Mildmay International. Evidence of a non-judgemental approach regarding race, religion, culture, sexuality and lifestyle is critical.
