About this Job:
POST: DEVELOPMENT ANALYST (1)
Schedule of Duties:
a) Reviews development policies, strategies, projects and programmes in the energy sector.
b) In charge of the energy sector and responsible to the Senior Economist.
a) Conducts and / or reviews feasibility studies and project appraisals in the energy sector, and sets projects priorities in liaison with relevant authorities in the sector.
b) Coordinates the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of development projects in the energy sector, ensuring they are in accordance with the overall national development vision, strategies, policies, plans, prgorammes and projects.
c) Assists relevant authorities in the energy sector in producing their Quarterly and Annual reports.
d) Analyses both recurrent and development Budgets of the energy sector, and bring out their budgetary trends.
e) Carry out any other duties as provided by the Senior. Economist.
Requirement:
Qualifications: B.A (Honours) Economics from a reputable University.
