About this Job:
The Government of Uganda represented by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development is in the process of recruiting staff in key areas below on contract basis. Interested persons with the required qualifications should submit applications at the address below:
POST: SOCIO – ECONOMIST (2)
Schedule of Duties:
a) Coordination of donor funded projects with a view to getting quality progress reports and proposing the way forward.
b) Conduct socio-economic studies to identify the effects of the project being implemented to the project affected persons
c) Undertake reviews of the power sector reforms with a view to strengthening positive achievement and proposing solutions to plug weak areas
d) Updating MEMD information centre.
e) Secretary to the sector working group.

B.A. (Honours) Economics, Bachelor of Statistics (Honours), B. Com. (Honours)
