About this Job:
AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is an international not for profit NGO, registered in Uganda as AHF-Uganda Cares. The organization offers HIV services including; prevention, impact mitigation, treatment and care services in collaboration with the Government of Uganda and other stake holders.
AHF -Uganda Cares is seeking for dynamic, community health focused and self motivated individuals with relevant experience to fill in the following vacant position.
Job Title: Lab Assistants
Number Required: 10
Locations: Kalisizo, Lyantonde, Kakuuto, Nakawa, Bukukulula, Kiwagala, Butenga, Masaka, Rakai & Nagongera Clinics
Reporting to: Site Captains I Medical Officers in-charge Key Responsibilities:
Provide laboratory services, oversight and adherence to standard laboratory protocols within a health care setting. S(he) is involved in training, supervision, mentorship and team building. Ensures high quality of laboratory services is maintained at all times. S(he) must have at least 3 years experience as a laboratory technician, knowledge and experience of HIV / AIDS prevention, care and treatment is required.

Minimum of Certificate in Medical Entomology and Parasitology or Medical Hematology
