Position Scop:
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, implementation and maintenance of various technologies managed by the Information Technology Department. This person will focus on the administration of the Company’s network infrastracture to include Personal Computers, Macintosh, Servers, Network Equipment and Software Applications.
The Systems Administrator will assess and identify appropriate solutions to be integrated into the Company’s systems operations and make recommendations for implementation
Key Responsibilities:
Planning, design, documentation and implementation of various systems to include Servers, Network Equipment and Software Applications.
Monitor and Maintain use of IT equipment
Develop, maintain and monitor procedures for all Server backups
Monitor, plan and co-ordinate the distribution of client/server software and service packs
Makes recommendations for new equipment and services, works with various IT vendors for procurement
Systems upgrade by conferring with vendors and services – developing, testing, evaluating and installing enhancements and new software
Perform on-site and remote technical support
Assist in the organization and inventory of all hardware and software resources
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
Regularly consult and update the Technical Support Manager on all IT-related issues
Requirement:
Desired Skills & Qualifications in:
At least 2 years experience in a busy IT driven environment.
System Administration, LAN knowledge, Servers, Networking knowledge including Hardware Configuration, Maintenance and Network Performance Tuning.
